chef/owner tommy golden has been involved in the san diego dining scene since he moved here from boston almost 20 years ago, opening awardwinning restaurants parkhouse eatery in hillcrest, in 1995 and beachgrass cafe in solana beach in 2000.
deciding to move on to a new project, tommy sold his two restaurants, and along with his brother edd, found this fabulous spot for iris, in del mar in 2007.
our menus change often, retaining some favorites throughout the year. we use local ingredients and organics as much as possible, along with the best that the rest of the world has to offer.
